The CZ 85 Combat adds a fully adjustable rear sight, extended magazine release, drop-free magazine and overtravel adjustment on the trigger. The Combat designation comes from the lack of a firing pin block safety, allowing the replacement of the firing pin without tools.
Ambidextrous features include safety levers, slide stop levers and a reversible magazine release. The lack of a firing pin safety gives the 85 Combat a slight advantage in the trigger pull department, making it a long-time favorite of competition shooters.

I own two polymer 9mm pistols from rival companies. About 2 months ago, I rented a CZ-75B, and it was love at first grip. After going through 50 rounds, I knew I would own a CZ pistol someday. That day came this past weekend when I picked up a CZ 85 Combat. After running 150 rounds, this pistol is the most accurate 9mm pistol I've shot. The balance and weight is perfect. I run a Rainer Ballistics/Hodgdon recipe - and I have the tightest grouping with my CZ. If you're reading this and contemplating picking up a CZ - just do yourself a favor and get one! If you can find one!
I picked up my first CZ75 about two years ago and since than I have picked up 7 more including the 85 combat that my wife got me for Xmas that she liked so much it is now hers, but I will get my own. The one I want the most is a 75B Champion, but from what I have seen out there this has to be one of the most sought after pistols out there. Who ever owns them they are hanging on to them and not letting them go. If anybody has one for sale please email me. CZ-USA keep up the good work looks like you have some cool new pistols out for 2012.
i have had the privilege of owning a few CZ firearms. However my favorite will always be the CZ-85 Combat Pistol. The first one i had was stolen and after a few years i was able to track another one down, and i took it to the range and it felt like it had never gone lost it
